Meet Dr. Rashad Sanford D.C., B.S.

Dr. Rashad O. Sanford, founder of Atlanta Spine Doctors, has years of clinical experience treating patients with pain without the drugs in the metro Atlanta area for 12 years. Dr. Sanford studied biology at Morris Brown College and earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He conducted cancer research at the National Institutes of Health National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, MD.
He chose a Chiropractic career after experiencing the benefits first hand. For almost 4 years he suffered with chronic neck and low-back pain following a basketball injury. Once he received a chiropractic adjustment he experienced relief from his lower back pain, his immune system grew stronger and his energy level soared. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Life University in 2005.
At Atlanta Spine Doctors, Dr. Sanford uses innovative pain management and the latest technology to treat injuries without drugs. He's one of the first in metro Atlanta to use Class 4 Cold Laser Therapy to provide pain relief without drugs or surgery. The deep tissue laser helps patients with prior sports injuries, inflammation, arthritis, fibromyalgia, muscle strains, and sinus issues. He also uses non-surgical spinal decompression to treat herniated or bulging discs. Dr. Sanford uses Innovative Wellness and Sports Enhancement specialties such as: Neuro-Proprioceptive Performance Enhancement Treatment, Sports Chiropractic, Extremity Care, Physiotherapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Neuro-Proprioceptive Rehabilitation and Training and Nutritional Counseling.
Dr. Sanford has had significant success using prenatal chiropractic care, including the Webster Adjustment Technique, to help expectant mothers prepare for a safe delivery and reduce the risk for C-sections. He has also lead free wellness seminars for pregnant women and their families at Babies R' Us. While studying at Life University, Dr. Sanford worked in the Community Outreach Program providing free chiropractic care to homeless women and children. He's traveled to Haiti and Mexico to provide free healthcare, wellness tips, and teach lifesaving techniques.
He's been a member of the Healthcare Ministry at Elizabeth Baptist Church in Atlanta and Turner Chapel Church in Marietta.
He is a personal Chiropractic Physician and Wellness Coach for professional athletes and the entertainment industry around the country. Dr. Sanford believes 'People do not care how much you know, until they know that you care,' and treats all of his patients as if they were family. He lives in Atlanta with his wife and two children.
